Art Nouveau/Jugendstil Helsinki in the Footsteps of Architect Eliel Saarinen and His Contemporaries - A 2-Hour Walking Tour

Hear about the life and times of architect Eliel Saarinen, father of Eero Saarinen, and see buildings designed by Saarinen and his contemporaries. Learn about Finnish history, the Finnish language and about present day Finland, the happiest country in the world. The Helsinki Central Railway Station designed by Eliel Saarinen is of course a must on this tour.

Although the main focus is on Saarinen and the National Romantic/Art Nouveau era we will not forget other important landmark sites such as the Senate Square and buildings by Alvar Aalto.
